About Harriet
I am a registered art psychotherapist (HCPC) and a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I have a Master’s degree in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy and a PGCE.
I work for Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and in private practice. My broad range of experience not only as a therapist but also as a literature teacher and a senior manager at a large charity gives me the advantage of seeing the context of your difficulties.
Previous therapy roles include the mental health charity Mind, a women’s service at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, and Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
I have worked for many years in education and the voluntary sector, both delivering and managing services for people who find it difficult to access the mainstream. I also specialise in working with those who support others.
I have a strong belief in people’s ability to change and in the power of the creative arts to inspire, express, connect, heal and transform. This is based on my personal development, study and training and on my clients’ experience.
